Mr. Jonathan S. VanDoran, 72, of Pulaski died Nov. 21, 2024, at NHC, Pulaski.
Mr. VanDoran was born April 2, 1952, in Glens Falls, N.Y. He was a devoted delivery driver for Giles County Furniture until he retired and was a member of First Baptist Church. He had a love of fishing, camping, playing cards and games (especially Yahtzee). He is preceded in death by parents, James and Jane Berrigan VanDoran; son Jon Paul VanDoran; sisters Eileen Courville, Patricia Ann Burch; and brothers, James VanDoran and Phillip VanDoran.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Jon VanDoran Mechanical Engineering Scholarship Endowment Fund at TTU Foundation, P.O. Box 1915, Cookeville, TN 38505.
Survivors include wife Christina VanDoran of Pulaski; daughter Brittany Polly and husband Will of Thompson Station; special grandchildren, Harper Polly, William Polly, both of Thompson Station; family friend Lance Dodson of Nashville; three daughters, five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of New York; and brother-in-law Ronnie Burch of Glens Falls, New York.
