Ruth was a radiant soul whose presence brought warmth and love to
everyone fortunate enough to know her.

her life to her career as a sewing machine operator at Temple Apparel.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ruth’s heart thrived in the

with those around her. She was also a Charter Member of the Blandon

immense joy. Most importantly, Ruth treasured the moments spent with
her family, a cornerstone of her life’s happiness.
She leaves behind a loving legacy, including her daughters, Linda L.

of Tony, of Reading. Ruth was the proud grandmother of Jody (Didyoung)
Graham, wife of John, Ashleigh (Marquardt) Turner, wife of Ben, and
Adam Marquardt, husband of Whitney. Her heart swelled with pride for
her great-grandchildren, Ian and Jillian Graham, Colton, Avery, and
Addison Marquardt, and Charlie and Emily Turner.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Frederick “Fritz”
Adam; Her parents, Llewellyn and Maud (Seidel) Schaeffer, and her
siblings, Harry L. Schaeffer, Elsie E. Adam, and an infant sister,
