EAST MILLINOCKET – Sandra Saucedo, 77, died March 10, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on March 24, 1947, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Donald and Gloria (Longley) Hendsbee.
Sandra served her country in the U.S. Army. She spent most of her working career in health care and retired from nursing in 2008. She enjoyed reading, watching her local Schenck basketball team, and being involved in her church family. She enjoyed making others feel happy and loved everyone unconditionally.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Michael Saucedo and Michelle of Bangor; her daughter, Michele Saucedo of San Antonio, TX.; four siblings, Gail and Edgar Hamm of East Millinocket, Bonnie and Dan Gallant of Woodville, Donald and Barbara Hendsbee of East Millinocket, and Laurie and Steve York of East Millinocket; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews; and close friends, Cheryl and Roger Powers, Sussie Larlee, and Barb Flakes. She was predeceased by her husband, Raul H. Saucedo in 2003, with whom she spent 34 years together; her parents; one son, Terry; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ruben, Gloria, Rosa, Maria, Pinkie, Nellie, and Ben Saucedo.
Friends may call from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at First Congregational Church of East Millinocket, 11 Maple St., East Millinocket, with funeral services being held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at First Congregational Church with Pastor Forrest Genther officiating.
