Wilmer Leroy Evans, son of the late Clarence and Virgel (Allen) Evans, was born January 21st, 1943, in London, Kentucky. He was united in marriage to Mayrean (Turner) Evans who survives of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by his children; Michael Evans and wife Tracy, Stephen Evans and wife Michelle, and Susan Aaron Cheek and husband Jason, all of London, Kentucky; and by his siblings Charlotte Wyatt of London, Kentucky, and Jerri Durham of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He was also blessed with six grandchildren; Whitney Evans, Travis Evans and wife Paula, Michayla Evans, Shelby Avera and husband Leighton, Sarah Clark, and Jessie Cheek, and by three great-grandchildren; Gunner Hinkle, Raelyn Muncy, and Bo Muncy. He retired from pastoring Lily Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his siblings Jack Evans, Denny Evans and Murrel Evans, and by one great-grandchild Annie Jo Muncy. Wilmer Leroy Evans departed this life on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024, being 81 years, 11 months, and 1 day of age.
