WALDORF, Md. — Detectives with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a suspect linked to a recent string of office burglaries along the Route 925 corridor and are urging the public to come forward with any tips.
Investigators say the unidentified individual is believed to be responsible for at least three commercial break-ins earlier this month, targeting office buildings on Crain Highway and Old Washington Road. In each case, the suspect reportedly tried to enter shortly after closing time, suggesting a deliberate pattern.
Surveillance footage shows the person of interest may be traveling by bicycle, often moving between Shoppers World and Acton Lane—an area heavily trafficked during evening hours. Authorities have released images of the suspect and are hoping someone will recognize him.

Detective Wilson is leading the investigation and encourages anyone with information to get in touch via email at wilsonj@ccso.us or by calling 301-609-6428.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Charles County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to the suspect’s identification and arrest.
