The newlyweds moved to California where Albert earned degrees from UC Riverside and UC Davis. Dr. Page joined the UCR Soil Science faculty in 1960. Over his forty-year career, he earned a distinguished reputation for research, collegiality, professional service, mentoring and teaching.
He is now reunited with Shirley (1929-2017). Albert is survived by his children Nancy and Tom, their spouses Raul and Susan, grandsons Thomas Andrew and Brian (wife Becca), and great grandchild Valerie Ivy.
Albert will be buried in a private service at the Riverside National Cemetery. A memorial service at UC Riverside is being planned.
