A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Anna “Margie” Trahan Henry, 97, who died Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Ochsner Acadia General Hospital.

The family is requesting visiting hours to be held on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A rosary will be led by Immaculate Heart of Mary Rosary Group on Thursday at 11 a.m.

She and her husband loved camping and owned A&M Campground. They were also lifetime members of the Good Sam Club.
Margie, affectionately known by her family as “Nanny,” enjoyed watching sports, especially the Saints, and the volume of the game was certain to be enough to drown out anything else going on at the house.

Trahan Jr.; one niece, Peggy Prejean Roy; two nephews, Rickey Istre and Harry Lee Trahan; one great niece, Wanda Trahan Olivier; and three great nephews, Jason Trahan, Randall Trahan and David Trahan.
