PLATTSBURGH [mdash] Thomas Craig Beauharnois, 74, of Plattsburgh, passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 9, 1950 the son of Oscar and Helene (Martin) Beauharnois.
Thomas graduated from Plattsburgh City School. He served in the United States Navy from 1969-1975, with service on the USS Tidewater and USS Annapolis.
Thomas was employed as a truck driver for many years. He also coached basketball and baseball for the town of Chazy.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Beauharnois; sons, Craig (Nichole Boyea) Beauharnois and Todd (Cara) Beauharnois; daughters, Chastity Beauharnois and Amber Brate; brothers, Martin (Josée) Beauharnois and Gary (Nereida) Beauharnois; sister, Gail Besaw; grandchildren, Jenna Tambasco, Katherine Kryzak, Kenneth Kryzak, Noah Martin, Nicholas Beauharnois, Emma Beauharnois and Thomas Beauharnois; two nieces and four nephews. He also leaves behind his two dogs Cooper and Willy.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law, Terry Besaw.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters’ Church with interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Thomas may be made to Elmore SPCA or Hospice of the North Country.
