JEANNE ELIZABETH
Jeanne Elizabeth Boyd, 82, formerly from Wexford, PA, passed January 7, 2025, in Fort Worth, TX. She is survived by her son, Matthew Boyd; daughter-in-law, Carrie Boyd; stepdaughter Becky Hubbard; grandson, Samuel Boyd; granddaughters, Catherine Hill, Megan Smith, and Annie Boyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Boyd.
Jeanne was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on February 22, 1942, to Florence and Helen Bauer. She was the younger sister of Barbara George of Gettysburg, PA; and older sister of Kenneth Bauer of Charlotte, NC. She received her M.S. from Duquesne University in Education, and was a teacher in the Shaler school district for 30 years. After retirement, she moved with her husband, Kenneth, to Hayward, WI, to live on Moose Lake. She enjoyed hiking, painting, reading, and spending time with her friends. Due to the declining health of her husband, they moved to Fort Worth, TX, in 2016, to be closer to their family.
A private burial will be held with the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Human Society.
