FORKSTOWN TOWNSHIP – Brent Michael Cassidy, born December 8, 1969, passed away peacefully December 10, 2024.
Brent was a man of kindness and would give what he could to any and all in need. He put others before himself and did what he could to make their day a better one. He carried his own issues in life that he at times masked with his laughter. His mother used to say when Brent is laughing, he is crying inside; a statement that was sometimes true. No matter where Brent was he would always have a good story and a joke or two for you. He spent his life helping others, even when he couldn’t do much, he would still try to help see the bright side of things. Brent taught us how to laugh, to appreciate all that we have and to take in as much of life as we can. He would want all that knew him, friends and family, to know that your happiness made him happy, that your friendship was appreciated, and he will do what he can for you at his new resting place. Somehow it seems it will look like a camp, next to a river where he has solitude and as he did every year, look forward to a spring thaw and the new flow of the river.
Brents’ at peace and resting with his beloved dogs. In keeping with his spirit of happiness, there will be no services, rather a celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
Brent was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Marjorie Cassidy. He is survived by his sister, Colleen Cassidy Goodall and husband, Ken; his brother, Mark Cassidy; nephew, Colby Goodall and his wife, Arieanna; nephew, Parker (“the Lego Legend”) Goodall; niece, Alyssa Goodall Donahue and husband, Chris, and family; niece, Shandra Cassidy Hussey and husband, Kevin, and family; special aunt, Ruth Stewart and her husband, Avon Jr.; cousins, Avon III, Jared and Darren Stewart, and their families.
