Joe Brice, 76, of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, Dec. 26, 2024, at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth in Boardman following a brief illness.
Born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Joe was a son of the late John and Catherine Shaffer Brice.
A graduate of New Castle High School, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris College.
In 1981, Joe relocated to the East Liverpool area, beginning a remarkable career with Hall China Company as the National Accounts Manager. He later continued in this role with Homer Laughlin until his retirement.
An avid swimmer, he was a familiar face at the YMCA. He cherished time spent outdoors, especially hunting and shooting, and his passion for golf introduced him to many cherished friends.
Above all, Joe was a devoted family man who loved and his wife, children and grandchildren.
He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Jackie Brice. Joe is also survived by his two daughters, Kate and Emily; as well as two granddaughters who brought him joy.
He will be dearly missed by his brother, Jack Brice (Rose); and five sisters, Kathy Weinschenk (Bob), Maureen McBride, Rosemary Eastman, Eileen Warner (Todd) and Margo Brice.
A remembrance gathering to celebrate Joe’s life will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at the Dawson Family Center in East Liverpool, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to join in sharing memories and honoring a life well lived.
