MIDDLETOWN [mdash] Beverly Ann Damron, 85, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at Sugar Fork Crossing in Anderson.
She was born on April 6, 1939, to Verne and Alberta (Gullion) Rivers.
Beverly was a 1957 graduate of Western High School in Russiaville. She was a member of the American Legion Color Guard in Middletown. Beverly was a doll maker for many years, she enjoyed making crafts, cooking, baking and making candles.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Laurie) (Lesia) of Texas, David Goodnight of Texas, and Jeff Goodnight (Dawn) of Middletown; three stepchildren, John Wade Damron of Texas, Karina Ogle of Anderson, and Jimmy (Alexandria) Damron; grandchildren, Michelle, Hannah, Kole and Madison; great-grandchildren, Elijah, Josiah, Malachi, Asher, Jovie, Jeremiah and Dixie; and sisters, Toni Rivers and Tina Rivers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, John Damron; brother, Tom Williams; sister, Cindy Colwell.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
