DAVID G. BEARDSLEE. David was born on January 15, 1943, in Flint, Michigan to the late Howard and Emma (Goebel) Beardslee. He was married to the love of his life, Janet, for fifty-eight years. For several years, he was on the Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation Board where he was committed to the development within the Grand Blanc area. David was a dedicated teacher for thirty-three years in the Flint school system. He was an honorary member of the Sons of the American Legion. His happiest place was in Tawas, Michigan where he enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake. David was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
David leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Janet; children, Sandra (Walter) Smith and Scott (Suzanne) Beardslee; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for David on January 15, 2025 at the American Legion from 2-6 p.m. located at 375 E Grand Blanc Rd., Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439.
