Michael E. Davis, 70, formerly of Monticello, passed away on Dec. 31, 2024.
He was born to Eugene M. and Dorothea (Strauch) Davis on June 12, 1954, in Logansport, Indiana.
He graduated with the Class of 1974 from Lowell High School. He recently was able to attend his 50-year class reunion. Michael attended Ivy Tech College. He worked many years for Monticello Spring Corporation in Monticello.
Michael lived in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia for about five years, and then moved back to this area.
He was affiliated with the Lutheran Churches of Lowell and Logansport. Michael enjoyed donating his time with the Good Fellows organization of Kokomo. He loved watching old movies.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene M. Davis and Dorothea (Strauch) Ellars; and sisters, Sherrie Davis and Linda Jeffries.
He is survived by his brother, Randy Davis (Melinda); nieces and nephews, April Little, James Davis, Scott Walker and Emily Walker; and several cousins.
There will be a private service for family at a later date.
