Born January 26, 1935, in Danbury, Dolores passed away peacefully on December 8th at the age of 89.
Dolores graduated from Danbury High School in 1952 and the University of Connecticut, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1957.
Predeceased by her husband Charles A. Winans, Dolores is survived by her sons Christopher and Helen (Brickfield) Winans, Danbury, Timothy and Christine Winans, Litchfield,and Matthew Winans and his partner Susan Hixson, Scituate, MA., and her grandchildren Grace (Winans) and Christopher Jackmin, Raleigh, NC and Peter Winans, Brooklyn, NY.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 11:00 AM at St Rose of Lima, Newtown, CT. A repast will follow at Sal e Pepe’s Restaurant 97 S Main St, Newtown. To help us plan accordingly, we kindly ask that you RSVP for the repast by Jan 8th to helenbrickfield@gmail.com.
