Mildred Lucille Ehrheart, 94, of New Castle passed away Monday afternoon, Jan. 6, 2025, in Quality Life Services.
Mrs. Ehrheart was born April 19, 1930, in New Castle, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Giles) McGary and attended Harlansburg School.
After working as a waitress at Castleton Hotel and the Holiday Inn, Mildred later worked as a dietary aide at Haven Convalescent Home, all in New Castle.
Mildred was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, New Castle.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Viggiano (Rick), Lakeland, Florida; two sons, Rodney “Rod” Heasley (Karen) and Harry Robert Heasley (Cindy), all of New Castle; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, A.L. “Ernie” Ehrheart; and a stepson, Kit Ehrheart.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, in the funeral home, with Rev. Marilyn Fair, officiating.
Interment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens, Neshannock Township.
