Fergerson, James Stephen Steve

James “Steve” Stephen Fergerson, 64 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on July 3, 1960, born to Charlotte and James “Jim” Fergerson, in Moulton, AL. He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Jami Fergerson; children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, mother, Charlotte Fergerson; and sister, Alicia McKeough. Steve is preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Fergerson. Serving as pallbearers will be Reggie McCue, Ronnie Pierce, Philip Parker, Richard Parker, Matt McKeough, and Harold Monk. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road, Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Zoar Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery. The family has requested those in attendance to wear purple and gold.
