Javian Jamal Jones, 30, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died December 15, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. He was a member of Collins Chapel CME Church and was a material handler at Visible Warehouse.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Dec. 27 from 3-5:30 p.m. and on Dec. 28 at New Hickory Hill MB Church, 5580 East Raines Road in Memphis from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Rev. Antonio Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.
He leaves a daughter, Jaylah Jones of Memphis; mother, Latonia Scruggs of Memphis; father, Thomas Christopher Jones of Olive Branch; grandmother, Gracie Jones of Memphis; sisters, Jerika Jones of Memphis, Brianna Jones of San Antonio, Texas, and Aliyah Jones of Olive Branch.
