We celebrate the amazing life of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Jessee Garland Moore, Jr.
Jessee married his high school sweetheart, Joanne “Jodi” Moose, in 1973 and began his 32 year career with the Norfolk Police Department. His career was a storied one, earning him lifelong friends and many commendations for his commitment to policing to include the highest award in the state for public safety work, the Commonwealth Public Safety Medal of Valor.
He was a founding member of Coastal Community Church and an avid softball player, traveling all over the country to play. He loved his Dallas Cowboys, no matter what
Jessee is celebrated by his daughter Tara Moscopulos, and her husband David Moscopulos, Jr; His grandchildren Wyatt Gibson and Zoe Moscopulos.; his brother Leroy Butcher, his sisters Marie Rappholdt, Dawn Kennedy, Robin Stoner, Tina Beckett, and Rose Marie Henson; he has joined his beloved wife, Joanne “Jodi” Moore and his son Jessee Garland Moore III, in Heaven.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday January 11th at 2pm at Holloman Brown Kempsville Chapel 1485 Kempsville Road Virginia Beach, Virginia 23464. Please join us to celebrate his extraordinary life.
