Jane was a homemaker and a helpmate in the operation of Kennell Family Farms. Jane served her community by serving on the Logansport Children’s Home board of directors, as well as the board of directors for the Salvation Army.
She worked as a secretary at Equitable Life Insurance for a number of years. She instilled in her family qualities such as a strong work ethic, a sense of humor, a love of reading and a love for the Lord. She treasured family gatherings and loved the Christmas season. Jane was a lifelong member of Crooked Creek Christian Church, of Royal Center, where she served as the organist for 70 years. She served in the Ladies Aide group by teaching Sunday School, and in serving at funeral services and dinners. She was a lifelong student of God’s Word, and strong in her faith.
