Lourdes Maria Martinez, a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, passed away December 15th 2024 at the age of 84. Lourdes was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on April 28th 1940. She will be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother who was always there to provide wisdom, support and an abundance of love to her family and friends. Lourdes loved sports and played basketball and softball in high-school. She supported all three of her sons as team mom and cheered them on at all of their sporting events. She was an avid fan of the Lakers, Dodgers, Kansas City Chiefs and Nascar. Lourdes loved life. She also loved painting, gardening and cooking for her family and friends. Later in life Lourdes became a member of the Guadajalupana’s at Holy Trinity and served as president.
She is survived by her loving husband Paul, her son Mike, granddaughter Alexxandria, son Paul (Renee) grandsons, Paul and Nicholas, son Andrew (Gretchen) grandsons Blue and Mark, grandaughter Heather and great grandchildren Jake and Cole.
A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro on Friday, January 17th at 10 AM.
