Mark Taylor, 67, of Cabot

Mark Arnold Taylor, 67, of Cabot, passed away Dec. 1.

He was born Oct. 19, 1957, in Smyrna, Tenn., to the late Jimmy Arnold and Betty Jane (Painter) Taylor.

Mark loved his family and was an amazing husband for 46 years, as well as a great father, grandfather and loyal friend.

Mark was retired after years of working in construction and as an artistic carpenter. He enjoyed the outdoors the most, whether it was to hunt, fish or simply find a new road to travel. He could find a face in every rock he found and would help you see it, too. Mark was a chef in his own kitchen and had a passion for grilling and smoking, but only a Weber would do.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his sister, Lola Marie.

Left to cherish his memory and miss him severely are his wife, Gladys (White) Taylor; daughters, Shannon Taylor and Kristin Bell (Brad Devoss); five grandchildren, Donevan Cearns, Makayla Cearns, Jade Mudge, Saphire Mudge and Taylor Rayne James; and a sister, Janie Taylor Watson, as well as many dear friends and extended family.

A memorial gathering for Mark will be held at from 6 till 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Moore’s Funeral Home in Cabot, 501-843-5816.
