Nina Gardner

Nina Gardner, 95, of Barryton, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Born on March 18, 1929, in St. Louis, Michigan, she was the daughter of Hiram and Esther (Sheldon) Cooley. Nina was united in marriage to RJ Gardner, and together they built a life rooted in love, family, and community in Barryton, a place they proudly called home. Her collection of owl figurines reflected her appreciation for life’s joys. Above all, Nina’s greatest passion was her family, to whom she gave her unwavering love and support. Nina is survived by her beloved children: Mark (Linda) Gardner, Mike (Keiko) Gardner, Phyllis Love, and Delores Baxter; her grandchildren: Nathan (Sara) Gardner and Mark Gardner; and her great-grandchildren: Emerald, Brooklyn, Brian, and Bane.
