Raymond Francis Day, 85, passed away at John Demsey Hospital on July 29, 2025. He was born on May 27, 1940 in Bristol CT. He lived in Collinsville CT and is survived by his son Kenneth Day and Daughter Kelly Day.
He’s first job when he was 16 years of age was at first national grocery store. Then he became a firefighter at Tunxis house and an EMT at the Collinsville volunteer fire department. After that he work as an apprentice at Perry technology where he became a machinist. After that he became a Purchasing agent at TM industries. Ray favorite pastime was watching Nascar. He also collected Nascar as well. He enjoyed hanging out with friend at grindstone on Tuesday. He is thankful for Jules Poirier to watch over his kids Kenny and Kelly
Predeceased by his wife Cindy Day and son Steven Day, his brother, Kenneth Day Brother from Bosie ID, Dorothy Kanopas of Vermont, family friend Herman “Ham” Wondrofski also from Vermont.
