Mr. Escoe “Bud” Robinson, 69, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Bud was born on February 2, 1955. He was the son of the late Escoe and Hattie Embry Robinson. Bud was known for his love of artwork and his talented skill in photo realistic drawing. In other circles he was known for his karaoke performances. To others Bud was known as Colorado Bob, a feisty and fiery gunslinger from the old west, as he acted and did stunts for Moturoais Studios. He was also a horror enthusiast. Bud was a dedicated sales associate for 25 years at Lowe’s Home Improvement store in Richmond.
Bud attended Eastern Kentucky University, and he also completed school for ministry teachings. As in his earlier life, Bud leaned on God in tough times, and he leaned on God as well in the end. He attended Madison Hills Christian Church.
Bud is survived by his brother-in-law: Steven Hendricks (Lori) and their two children: Cameron and Brittany; his best friend: Marcia Turner, and her three children, who Bud help raise: Duke Fields, Matthew Fields and Seb Weaver. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Fiona “FiFi” and his two cats.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his wife Debra Hendricks Robinson.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 16, 2024, in the Pavilion of the Richmond Cemetery. Pastor Marty Frazer to officiate.
