Debbie Rutenschroer, 69, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Dec. 25, 2024, at the age of 69. She was born Oct. 28, 1955, in Weatherford, Texas, the daughter of Bill Wampler, Sr. of Godley, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Sinclair Wampler.
Debbie was the beloved wife of Mark Rutenschroer of 41 years. Together they built a home filled with laughter, faith and enduring love.
She was the proud mother of Nicki (Bill) Atkinson of Wilder, TN, and Jeremy Rutenschroer of Weatherford, Texas. Grandmother to Hayden, Holden, Jared, Jayden, Paxton, Zane and Parker. Great-grandmother to Benji and Abilene. Sister to Bill (Jana) Wampler, Jr. of Terrell, Texas.
Funeral services will be held 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, at Hood Funeral Home. Graveside service immediately following with the burial at Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville.
