Ruth Elaine Huitt, 84, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2025. She was born on October 19, 1940, in Earlington, Kentucky.
Ruth is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Royce Wilford Huitt, and her daughter, Regina Lynn Young.
She is survived by her children: Roy Anthony and Sheryl Huitt of Mansfield, Texas; Revel Wayne Huitt of Hermitage, Arkansas, and David and Rhonda Darlene Groves of Mansfield, Texas.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Sheena Lynn Young, Todd Anthony Huitt, Justin Taylor Huitt, Roy Anthony Rich, Ryan Hunter Huitt, Dylan Wayne Huitt, Emily Darlene Dulin, Katherine Elaine Groves, and David Huitt Groves.
Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Briley Peyton Huitt, Hayes Edward Huitt, Beau Anthony Huitt, Hudson Lavon Huitt, Tucker Taylor Huitt, Hailee Ann Huitt, Royce Cash Huitt, Rex Waylon Huitt, Kamber Darlene Lowe and Zayn Alexander Estrada
Ruth will be remembered for her unwavering love for the Lord, her deep devotion to her husband and family, and the warmth and comfort she created in every aspect of her life. Her exceptional cooking brought people together, and her keen eye for decorating and crafty creativity turned every space she touched into a place of beauty and love.
Her kindness, faith, and creative spirit will forever be treasured by those who knew her. Though deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.Funeral services will be 2:00PM Saturday, March 15th at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
