Rene ‘Penny’ Tiehen, 80, passed away on Thursday, Dec 19, 2024, at Norman Regional Medical Hospital.
The daughter of Alfred ‘Al’ Peterson and Betty Chrest, she was born and raised in Marquette, Michigan. She gained her cosmetology license, attended Northern Michigan University, and later worked at a local bank. As the wife of an Air Force officer, she lived in several cities across the US and Canada and moved to Norman in 2001.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald ‘Ron’ Tiehen; daughter, Christine Rochman and husband Cary; son, Brian Tiehen and wife Leigh.
A memorial will be announced at a later date to be held at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrok St, Norman, Oklahoma, 73072.
