Tom was active in many organizations throughout the years. He served as a president on the board of Chisholm Trail Hospice. Tom was a member of the Rotary Club of Duncan and also served on the Senior Citizens’ board for a number of years.
Tom was an avid reader and a life learner. He had various authors that he particularly loved to read: Grisham, Patterson, and Baldacci, but most of all, Tom loved reading his Bible and attending church at New Hope Baptist Church West here in Duncan.
Tom was an avid OU sports fan. He loved OU football and the OU girls’ basketball and softball teams. He loved the Oklahoma City Thunder and other sports teams as well as horse racing especially the Louisiana Downs and Kentucky Derby.
